Genesis transducer (depth finder)
I just located a poaris oem depth finder for my 04 genesis i. Where is the best location to put it at and what are the sealent recomdations for attaching to the hull. Looking at the back of my genesis it looks like the best place would be on the starboard side of the hull.

Do you have the installation instructions for the depth sensor?
If not, I think they are posted on here somewhere. Search for the part number should turn up the thread.
Epoxy is what the original kit came with, as. I recall. Needs to something that does not have any elasticity so the sound waves can travel easily through the bonding material.
Are you coming to harsens island this year?

Thanks for the info. I aquired the depth sensor from a buddy so no instructions but I will search the thread for it. I do plan to come to harsens island but still working out the details with work and the wife.
