Lake Anna Va. testing of Jim's Plates , Installed GPR & XLT1300
Thanks for the great job on the plates. I installed them friday night and went riding sat. @ Lake Anna Virginia with 3 guys from Northern Virginia.
*GP 1200r No advent. Single pipe, vforce reeds, over pitched prop 15/23, bolt on heads and rejetted carbs. Jims side cut plate, 800 grate & Fecho speed cut tabs , 85mm nozzle . Air temp 70 degree's semi- smooth water 6inch chop
Results = 74.4 mph 1/3 tank fuel, no super man, over prop'd 7080 rpm's
*XLT 1200, covnverted 1300 BB by lowell, Single pipe, v-force reeds, Jims Plate (angle & side cuts), r&d bolt on rec heads, advent ignition, f/a & rejetting, 85mm nozzle ** 100% FULL of fuel**, air temp 70 degree's semi smooth water 6in chop
Results- 71.6mph full tank fuel, no super man

good numbers. seems like the xlt is 2 times harder to get numbers out of

Nater785p, Your right it is harder, but well worth it to see the look on the faces of (most)GPR, RXP and Ultra riders as I walk on by them (espically in the chop). Best of both worlds. Speed & compfort. Hopefully next week I'll burn off some fuel once and get some half & 1/3 tank speed numbers 73 maybe.

wasnt expected to get smoke by a whale. I did get him out the hole on the ultra (we expect that) but he catch up to me on short period of time and never look back. One fast MOFO

Hey DS, Since I was helping you Sat morn finish up your skis, you might have gone a little faster since i kinda forgot to pullout all those tools i left in your hull....oooops . And just wait C4 and I are gunning after you once we get our breakin hours done and mods!! Hows your cold doin, still hittin you hard?? TTYL

If it aint one thing its another!
The allergies (cold) are now under control. Went to the Doc on monday. I got hooked up with some Alegra, eye drops, and 2 different nasal sprays. Feeling much better. But now I have Poison Ivy on my arms. I finish up the 720 seadoo rebuild this morning. I'll be dropping that in this week end. Hopefully we'll be able to hit the water next week end (if it warms up??)
