    gp200r not getting off idle

I have a 2001 gp1200r. I was having a problem with the ski loading up the idle and fine on top. I just deleted the oil pump and went pre mix. I have a new issue, when i start the ski the low fuel warning light and alarm goes off. The fuel is full. This all started after sitting all winter. After I deleted the oil pump I put it in the water and I can't get it to go over idle without stalling. I still havnt seen if the deleting the oil pump worked because she stalls to easy. I have to feather the throttle to keep it running. I believe the fuel sending unit is bad thats why the alarm is going off. Can a bad sender make the ski run bad? Or is this something else. I have always found if somethings broke after you messed with it then you usually did something. Any ideas????

Have the carbs ever been rebuilt ? If not, that's a good thing to do. Use Mikuni parts only. I'd stay off it until you're able to rebuild. I'd check all your connections to the fuel sending / sensor for corrosion etc. If they're good, you may need a new unit.
