Water box help
Need some help on what to do with my freinds RXP.
The baffles on his waterbox came loose so he needs to know all his options. It is close to stock with only a few mods getting him to around 72. Should we just gut this one or trade it to someone, sending to mod, for a stock one?
If there is power to be gained by modified, how much?
Is this a common occurrence?
Does anyone have one cheap?
Your input would be great.

Just remove the loos baffles totally. If he wants a Rotax waterbox I might have onbe for sale soon.

How much and where do you take the length from? Middle?

Definitely shorten it up. I ran one once w/out the baffles and lost all vaccuum. The waterbox couldn't push out the water at the very bottom of the box. The water then boiled and cracked the waterbox. You need to cut it down by about 40% imo. Look up the RR waterbox dimensions and try to get close to those measurements.
