An iS ski in rough water, one word HOLY CRAP!

Had the ski out in the ocean this weekend with the wind blowin 15-20 boat traffic and rough water and 2 kids on the back.

All I have to say is WOW. If you don't have an iS ski don't ever get one because you don't want to
know what you are missing in those conditions. I've been boating all my life and have never felt so.....
separated from that boat chop bouncing feeling. Its almost like you are on a 30 footer rather then a 12.

Anyway, that being said, Im down to 1 code lol P0217 which seems to come and go.

Wondering if I can get to the intake manifold temp sensor through the engine hatch?

Went out for a 90 mile / 6 hour trip on Friday. Was supposed to be 3 hours. Bad weather and 5-8ft waves killed the average speed. T3 hull handled like a champ and didn't stutter once. Next few days both myself and passenger have pretty good back and neck tightness. Wonder if suspension would have helped. We've got a GTX S but I question whether it would have helped in 6 hours of very rough water.

was out front last week from Great Egg inlet (ocean city) to Atlantic city inlet and it was very choppy!
I don't have a suspension ski but I can tell you that the S3 hull on my '13 RXT-X 260 handled it 10000000000 times better than my '07 RXT would have!

If it didnt weigh 200 extra pounds I'd be all over it.......but all my riding is non ocean so I guess I don't really need it

I've heard getting the engine out of those models is alot more work ....is that correct??
