    2000 Seadoo XP

    Hello,
Purchased a 2000 XP that needs a little TLC LOL!!! There is a 5/16 line that comes off a nipple in the lower block on the right side just below the exhaust, it was not connected to anything. Service manual says and shows it to be a drain line? Can anyone tell me where that is supposed to connect to or where it goes? Thanks Steve

drain line from the heat exchanger/jugs, typically goes to an outlet before the exhaust, could be hard to see on your model. Web based Parts diagrams are a good supplement to the manuals.

If you put a hose on it water should come out at a pretty good clip.(start the engine BEFORE you turn on the water)

    Thanks Pete,
Ill try looking at the parts diagrams, but ive looked everywhere and I cant see any place for that hose to go and your right water pours out of it LOL!

yean, not the exhaust on that model, a fitting on the "transom"..I had one a long time ago that was flooding after a rebuilt motor was installed. The "tech" didn't see that hose and simply put a cap over the fitting on the pump shoe for the drain. Get a bigger light!
