    08+ head pipe questions

I got the pipe along with waterbox from forum member. The head pupe was drilled and taped for o2 sensor /see pics/. It was salt water ski. The thread went bad when I decided to replace sensor. Is this part of the part water jacketed? What is the best way to fix it? Is it ok that the pipe itself is shortened?

    thanks

Never seen anyone tap that for a o2 sensor.

I would weld / plug that shut, and tap the manifold on the head. As close as the sensor would be to water / moisture in the waterbox, I don't think it would last very long in that location
