Aaaaarrgghhh can't get my top deck back on!!

Guys, finally completed all my mods today, but have spent 5 hrs trying to get the top deck on my ski with no success.

If anyone is familar with either aS or iS ski's please share your tip to get the front suspension arms bolted back onto the moving deck.

I have tried every combination of front first, back first, shock & damper first, but I cannot get the front supports anywhere near the deck to bolt it together.

It's the center spring & damper that is holding me away. I have tried winding down the shock pre load, no difference. It just holds me away from the supports.

Come on someone, I'm desperate to ride, so close but so far.

    Cheers

    No way, not this year.

    1) need to stop working on ski n just ride the damn thing
    2) my plan was to find a balance between decent mods but with high reliabillity, now I'm just about there. The valve train just gives me a little buffer
    3) need to seriously work on lovin up the wife a bit more, damn American Express bills keep coming in the mailbox, I have spent around 8000$ on this ski since xmas!!! FFS, I could have kept it stock and bought two Sparks to mess around on!

you have to use 2x4's to hold up front suspension arms, then connect center loosely, then connect front and rear very last. its a pita!! holding up front arms is key to job.

make studs to put into the center suspension atleast two studs that are long enough to set the top deck on and it will align it once you get a couple colts in and tight

    Da daaaar! Done it!!!

FFS, never ever again. Next time it needs the top deck off I'll sink it.

What a hideous design - period.

Good news, started on the button after all the major works.

Tomorrow I should see some sun n water - yay

    Thanks for the tips.
