They have been around as long as I can remember. And I bought my first ski in 1993.

They work good. I know people that run them. They are just kinda pricey. Its funny you bring them up. I have been thinking about running them in my Gprxp.

Versi-plugs work better, and last unlike the duckbills. However.... I don't think their making them for the new larger drain plugs yet?

the downfall of the duckbill is the zip-tie.

if you have a loose zip-tie in your hull it will find the duckbill, hold it open and sink your ski.

ps. I have a used pair for GPR I never installed.

I had not heard of those before. They look nice. May give them a try.

I thought the newer Seadoo's had something similar from the factory...I thought there was some kind of check valve/one-way valve in the factory drain plugs.

They do.... and you can ride with the oem drain plugs out. However..... running with oem drain plugs out, or Versi-plugs the ski will take on a bit of water when sitting still. With that being said.... don't run Versi-plugs without a bilge pump! I have a buddy who can explain what will happen if you do run them without a bilge pump
