    Angry Can't get the f***ing oil filter off !!!

    First oil change 4 different oil wrench devises the one had enough grip to crush the filter the problem is it's on to tight from the factory maybe they did not oil the gasket location is a PIA also.

    or a rubber belt wrench..useful on more than just an oil filter

    That plier wrench one is what I crushed it with everything else would slip.

    I use a nylon strap wrench that uses a piece of seatbelt webbing.

    So if you crushed it and it's worthless now - try to poke something through the filter so you can increase your leverage and get it off, like a screwdriver or something.

    Crude diagram to follow:

    ------------------(oil filter)----------------

    This way you can get 2 hands on it to apply leverage to both sides.

    Yep try that poking a screwdriver thru but did use the wrench cap made for OEM oil filter...never a prob...

    ya hiensight 20/20 not even sure that woulda worked never seen a filter on this tight,anybody ever remove an intake is it a
