    R&D Power Filter Kit Install

    Hey guys..

Just got my R&D Power filter kit... after looking at the instructions.. it claims you bore 2 holes in the air plenum box.. Then the aluminum tube goes straight through it then putting the filter just above the fuel tank.. BUT still inside the engine compartment.. I swear when I saw it on other sparks the air filter is placed in the empty space behind the knee pad panels.

To me this would not be a cold air intake if your placing the air intake inside the hot engine compartment.

Any advice from guys who already have this installed?

    Thanks in advance!

Heres a pic from the instructions. Click image for larger version.

The stock air box is a pain in the ass , if nothing was bolted to it ...it would be a easy job ...
