2001 Virage TX 1200 DI missing at WOT

I just bought 2 virage 2001 tx 1200 di 1 of them was running fine and then the fuel regulator fell off fixed that but it still misses pretty bad and will not get past 40. I have replaced the fuel pump and tps and it's better but still not running 55 to 60 like it should any help would be great.

Check your compression. You may be down a cylinder from the regulator coming off.

Compression is good on all cylinders. It has power and runs good it feels like it needs more fuel.

All these comments are for the same single machine?

    Is the other machine operational?

Yes all comments are from the same machine. I bought two and got 1 running and it ran good for a day until the fuel regulator fell off then I swapped the fuel pump and it got better but is still lacking at wot. I have tried new fuel lines new pump a known good tps still has a miss and it's only under a load. When you first take off it feels good then it starts to miss like it needs more fuel. Any suggestions would be great.

My MSX 140 ran like that and it turned out 1 cylinder was way down on compression. Fixed the cylinder and the problem went away.

Bryan I think you may be right about the compression being off. I checked all cylinders again and I got Mag 80 center 80 and PTO 70 to 75 that is just turning over the motor not running. If I pull one plug at a time and run it its Mag 120 center 120 and the gauge broke before I could the PTO again. I'm new to all of this so let me know what you think. Thanks for the help.

That compression sounds really low. I would be pulling the heads to have a look

I will check compression again today and give you an update. If it is low compression would that be rings and piston or could reed valve be bad or what would cause this?
