250x hit 65.9 today with 6 hours logged.

Does this speed sound about right. Water had a little bit of chop. Only my second ride on this boat.

Darn. I was rooting for ARG in World Cup. I remember the great old days with Diego Maradona. But, to get to question. I assume you are asking about stock out of the box which is mainly all I know. I think 65.9 is good, if you want to go 68+ in smooth water you may want to experiment with wedge and grate. The speed on my old 250, just like speed on my current 260, varies a lot from day to day depending on cargo, fuel level, wind, current, and who knows what. But I would say 64 to 68, stock out of the box, is standard range. My highest recorded speed on 250 and on 260 is 70 with 2 deg wedge and Riva ride plate in perfect conditions including strong favorable current! Usually, more like 64 to 67 in stock trim. Not the fastest nimblest gazelle I know but plenty of power and hull to crush the cruelest chop in nastiest conditions we can find. I think these Ultras can crush through most rough water faster than average person can hold on.

In happy so far with this ski. It does handle the water well. I'm not used to the turning aspect yet. Nothing like the fzs.
I really think I get to 70 real fast. Not sure about anymore though.

Plan on testing the timing mod this evening. But temps are cooler today than last week. I may get a little more than normal. Tomorrow I will test the riva plate, then the lx wedge.

To be honest I don't know. I quit looking at those when the Zxi came out!

Yeah they seems to be really off. Mine was going between 60-70 today on mine at WOT so I'm assuming I was doing 65

I didn't get to test yesterday. Looks like I have some bad spark plugs. I couldn't get the boat to even plane yesterday!
