Stick Stuck in impeller, Need to remove intake grate
2011 GTR215 was out yesterday and on the ride back to the dock sucked up a stick. Fortunately it was on the last mile back to the dock and idled back in.
It was dusk so i couldnt see until this morning. The impeller sliced the stick in half and is half stuck, ive tried everything and im going to have to pull the grate... Before i do this what will i need to re install it, im sure some type of sealant and maybe loctite?
did a search and nothing really showed up.
Is there sometype of intake grate i could buy to help prevent this, the other ski GTI130 has a terrible problem sucking crap up. Im OK with loosing MPH if we can prevent this as much as possible. I know the obvious answer is dont ride in shit but sometimes its just inevitable we are very careful with our skis skis

Don't worry about this... It looks OK to me... I get stick in my impeller a couple time each summer... Torque it back and ride it!
