    Filling with water

    Hey guys,

Been fighting an issue for a while now. I'm getting lots of water into the hull. Thought it was the carbon seal as it seemed to fill only when riding and I have some cavitation.

Today I let it sit in the water for 15 minutes and in that time, 10 gallons or so of water entered the hull. Anybody have any recommendations as to where to start?
I've checked hoses and don't see anything.

I assume you had the seat off and were looking around the engine when you had it sitting in the water?

Put it on trailer, after it's dry, intentionally put water inside of the hull and see if it it leaking from the normal places. If not, run it on trailer on the ramp, use a flashlight and look for telltale signs of dripping.
    Good luck!

Not sure about your ski but I had cavitation and some water ingress with my 98 XPL and the solution was resealing the pump shoe against the rear hull - my seal had gone and was allowing water into the hull and air the other way into the pump tunnel.

Exactly what you need to do. Helped me figure out why my open loop plate was leaking in about 5 minutes.
