All there is to say it is one of the most reliable, best looking, fun, best bang for the buck skis in the market. In Montana I doubt you will have to worry about salt water so you should have many years of easy care for your new ski. Change the oil and plugs once a year and good to go.

not that anything should go wrong but if it ever does its typically small stuff, you can find a troubleshooting guide in my signature.

08 with 40+ hours no issues at all.

If your looking for all out speed it isn’t the best ski….but if your looking for a ski that gets good fuel economy, reliable, pretty fast 60+, good room and storage and great handling its really the best ski on the market for the money.

I have 265 salt water hours on my 2004 12f and have never missed a beat, the 15f is an even better motor.

I'm pushing 50 hours on my 2013 model. Not a single problem.

Great ski! I've got an 09, 47 hours, no issues, minor modifications...handles awesome (I have raced it a bit), great fuel economy. The only hesitation I would say, if you are looking to modify the craft, it seems the selection is decreasing. I don't know if the aftermarket is still continuing making parts. I have read on here someone was purchasing the R&D ride plate and intake available and was not available...don't know if they ended up getting it, but either way...definitely a good buy

Plate, grate, sponsons, and basically everything else r&d makes has been discontinued. Im working on a set though.
