FZS Water inside of the Hull - Broken hose

I can not believe I found water inside the hull, when I check the problem, had a broken hose exiting the oil cooler that go out to of the hull. What kind of quality control in their manufacture has Yamaha? skewer his sleeve during assembly of the hull and the water pressure breaks the hose.

I can not wait for the warranty (I'm going on vacation next Monday), I remove the hose to replaced. I can use any hose? for example a hose from Pep Boys? same size for gasoline?

An automotive grade heater hose would be fine as long as long as it fits properly. In fact it would be better since it's reinforced unlike many of the OEM hoses.
