    3Rude vs ET 140 on clutch/flywheel strain

Is there any difference? How bad are these chargers on the flywheel and the clutches

    rpm make a big difference
you can not compare a motor spinning 9k to one at 8100
seems like a lighter flywheel has to help some

Oh I bet it does. I don't know if the turbo is going to happen for me. I need to readdress my priorities.

I have both and the 140 wheel works well
not turbo good but it still kills stock kaw 310s
my turbo is sweet but why do I really need it
I mean my 140 has not been beat
and the turbo scares off most races

3 rude is supposed to give an extra 200RPMs but I don't know about the extra strain. Not many people still on this form have ran them.

BTW how often do you adjust slip? My freshly built 137x4 has about 6hrs on it and is down 2psi. I ride, well, lets call it aggressively. I'm one of those guys where if you see a boat pushing a 3ft wake the next thing you hear is a helluva whine then see me about 6ft in the air.

    is a turbo better....most definitely
but I have no reason or desire to go 90+mph
up here the only competition for my 140 ski are bass and off shore boats
I mean a snowmobile at 15psi can do 150mph in the 1/4 mile
so you can see why I say they are slugs
the SC clutch problem is just something your going to have to deal with it

How much more maintenance is the 3rude or ET 140. I put about 20hrs on my ski a year so I rebuild due to age, not hrs used.

I can't do those long trips with people because I have a throttle problem and empty my tank well before anyone else

sounds like a problem between your helmet and your throttle

That's exactly what it is. Most of the time I'm waiting for someone to goose it so I have a reason to slam the lever

The 3 rude will need to be checked more frequently than the 140...i havent run the 3 rude BUT i would recommend checking it after 4-5 hours on the first run,see where your slip is and reset it,then again after 10 hours and then if all is still well again at 20 hours...
