    Engine rebuilt question *(bolts)

    So after losing my supercharger gear in my motor last week, I pulled out the motor to inspect and clean.
    Decided I would look some more and check the crankshaft bearings while I'm there, good decision and they don't look as fresh as they could, so putting in new ones.
    Anyway, my question is, what bolts can or can't be re-used in that engine?
    If I follow the book, I would be replacing pretty much all of them, but at around 10$ CND a screw (some more, some less)it's going to add up and maybe un necessary?
    I've read head bolts should be fine if they measure up within a certain limit of stretch, but what about "rocker arm" bolts? or crank bolts, or even connecting rods bolts, surely the later can't be re-used?

    Also wondering if I should replace the flywheel bolts with OEM ones or ARP's or are they good to re use as well?

    All that you mentioned should be replaced. I would do ARP head bolts if you plan on keeping the ski. at about double the cost, once you pull the head twice, they pay for themselves.

    He means ARP head studs. And like stated, all are stretch bolts and need to be replaced.

    So much diversified information on here.. I was reading this treadhttp://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=203821 and they are saying the head bolts can be re-used, so that made me believe other bolts could be re-used as well. (maybe not)
    Looks like I'll stick to the manual and get all new bolts unless someone convinces me otherwise.

    the SC drive gear broke on mine too only with 22 hours. how many hours you got on yours ?
