2001 SLX does not have spark

Having problems again with my polaris slx 1200, had it started before heading to the water and now it won't fire, checked for spark and nothing,

checked all the wires in the box and everything looks good, changed out the voltage regulator with a new one and still nothing,

checked all the test that are in the book showing that the coil is good and the stator is good, I got another voltage regulator on its way,

I did see a little spark like four times very weak then nothing,

if you guys could help me out, I'm beginning to think it's the cdi.

Have you checked battery voltage while cranking?

Battery must deliver more than 10.6 volts to the CDI while cranking or you will not have spark.

Hold down the Bilge button. Bilge pump should run. Keep the Bilge button held down and try starting the engine.

The Bilge button forces full battery voltage to the Orange wires, which may include the CDI on your model year.

You have seen this info page?
    http://polarispwcknowledge.shorturl....omestic-engine

    and especially this
    http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...87#post1110087

Focus on the CDI 8 volt output. If that is good then check the Hall Effect sensors.

I presume you have already checked the stator coil ohms.

Also inspect the inline Deutsch connector in the stator cable. Sometimes there is corrosion inside or loose/damaged/burned pins.

If you are doing the tests from inside the electrical box, pull the inline stator cable connector apart and do the same tests from the connector. If there are differences then perhaps the inline connector and stub cable has an issue.

That is borderline, but might be enough.

If you hold down Bilge button that voltage at CDI should be stronger, yes?
