Will Intake/Throttle from 2011 15f work on 03' 12F ?
I need to replace my throttle body on my '03 STX-12F, I have the option to put on the whole intake manifold and throttle body from a 2011 15F, will this work OK if the whole assembly is moved over to the 12F? I have allready removed the emissions system from 12F by putting on the block off plates for the top of the engine and putting a silicone cap on the port where the emissions would connect to the throttle body. I'm just not sure if there is anything I have overlooked as the whole intake manifold seems much smaller in size...

Well I have the intake/throttle off the 2011 15F in hand now, I'm going to bolt it on in the next couple weeks so I will post and let everyone know the outcome...

Dont do it, it will run majorly lean and you will blow stuff up

Sean what will cause it to run lean, wouldnt that be controlled by the ECU, it seems both intakes have the same CFM but are of different design, the throttle also seems to be about the same spec? I have a 2009 15F with the exact newer intake/throttle and it does not run "lean", but i thought that was due to the ECU controlling the fuel/air and not the physical size? Can you please go into a little detail if you have any input for me, I would greatly appreciate it?
I'm mostly concerned with the throttle over the new intake manifold...

Switching from a 12f manifold and throttle body to a 15f manifold and throttle body will not give the same cfm, the runners on the 15f are bigger and shorter while the 12f are much longer and more narrow, the thottle body is a different size as well. This coupled with the ecu still thinking everything is the same means nothing in the tune changes and you will blow stuff up.
Thats the simple answer
