    virage I red light blinks

So at the end of my hour ride to the red light on my gauge cluster came on blinked a few times and went off so took it for on last lap full throttle around the lake and nothing. So my question is will that come on because of low gas in my tank or do I have another problem?

Momentary low fuel signals from the sender can cause the red warning lamp to flash. The Low Fuel text message may have appeared for just a second or two, easy to miss it

There is a short time delay between the instant when the tank sender signal drops to 1/8 fuel remaining and when the display starts showing the warning. I often see the red lamp flicker and go away as I get near the 1/8 fuel level.

The fuel can slosh forward and back in the tank. The fuel sender is in the rear of the fuel tank so if the fuel sloshes forward, as it would when slowing down quickly, that can trigger a momentary low fuel warning.

Once it starts appearing continuously you can press the Display button which will suppress the warning for several minutes.

Ok that is good to know so if it stays flashing and does not shut off then I know I have a problem?

Any time the MFI red lamp is flashing there should be a corresponding text message across the bottom of the screen telling you why the red lamp is flashing.

There are only a handful of conditions that will trigger a warning.

    Low Fuel
    Low Oil
Check Engine (EMM or sensor issue)
    Engine Overheat

    Low battery voltage

    Any others?
