    what size injectors to use

Building a (I hope and real fast ski) 2009 PX. Go Fast parts I have already are
Aeromotive RRFPR, Aluminum Fuel Rail -6AN Fittings return set-up, 137+4 Charger, XS Intercooler, Riva stock IC Block off, Riva Hard Pipes, HKS BOV, 15-22R Solas, 83mm Nozzle, 2 Degree Wedge, 60mm Ported Throttle Body, Riva Thermostat kit, TDR Water Box and Riva Rear Exit Exhaust, Works Intake grate, Riva Thermostat kit. 4" Intake tubing, Riva Pro Sponsons. OPAS Pro Removal Kit,
Going to purchase a Riva ECU or should I stay with stock 255 ecu
Still on fence about retainers and springs. Not sure if my prop will let me spin the motor that high to require the valve train upgrade.
Not sure which injectors to use. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

IMO cmd with auto tune and lcd, may get away with stock injectors
or vtech with logger and 60lb or v1100
send back the BOV and get some type of afr gage!

50# injectors, Yes. But not the Bosch 50# injectors. Idle A/F will be rich.....as in the high 10's or low 11's rich. As "skidoochris" said CMD w/autotune and LCD.

NO. The stock 48 are slightly too small for your charger. As "skidoochris" said, 60# injectors with CMD/autotune/LCD.

The pink elephant in the room is "at what fuel pressure?" on all of these quoted sizes. At 60 PSI in the rail, it takes about 60 lbs per hour to support stock 260 HP power levels. At the levels the turbo guys are running , it takes about 100-110 lb injectors. These numbers are for keeping the injector duty cycle around 85-90% max.

The other thing that gets involved with this is the injector opening time. Every ECU software calls this something different but the ECU CALABRATION HAS IT MATCH the injector curve. Without this piece of information, swapping injectors is rather sketchy.

Motec knows this curve for lots of the common injectors. I think Vtech knows sevreal of them.

My almost stock 2012 RXPX motor runs at 60% DC at WOT with VT11s.

    Hope this helps

    Andy
