    What to look for after rebuilds first run????

    Just got back from a test ride from a complete rebuild raining hard the entire time .
    I pre heat cycled on hose before taking to lake three times idling and revving up and down 3-4 ,000 rpm idled on ski in water took out let it cool the. Road it around not topping out or anything hit 50 like butter my question now what should new plugs with about an hour look like also what should pistons look like ?
    ill post them up once rain stops and I can get into the engine initial peek plug tips were dry greyish colored . Hate to be running lean

    Plugs are def oiled up from running a bunch of oil in gas for break in , if all three look like this should I be good ?

    What ski ?
    What rebuild ? new everything or one cylinder ?
    What caused original BOOM ?
    -plug reading is iffy at best but new ones don't yet have a story to tell.

    This does not pertain to your plugs, but I always inspect my water lines, (checking for leaks) and check all bolts to make sure nothing has come loose.

    Looking good so far.....definitely not lean. My plugs from my raider looked the same after the 1st tank after rebuild. I've since put 40 more hours on it.

    2001 gp1200r 165 hrs when middle piston got a hole In side carnage welded cylinder and replated third cylinder replated first one honed not sure what happend honestly carbs seemed fined ran pre mix so that's not an issue air leak maybe but not sure always hard to tell maybe just lots of hours ??
