300 X Recommendations (Bolt ons etc)

    Hi Kawa riders.

I've always been in the Seadoo or Yamaha sections but have brought a 300 today.

Looking to buy some parts off Jerry but want to make sure I go down the right path.

No experience with the Kawa platform or mods for same so I was thinking:
    Riva Over Ride
    R & D Grate
    Pump Cone
    Fuel Pick Up
    Prop
    Air Intake
    75 mph?

In relation to props what is the ideal prop for this sort of set up? 14/21?

In relation to the air intake I cant find much on here about them? which is the way to go?

Also are the pump wedges no good like the Seadoo ones or are they worth it on the 300?

If anyone has a R&D Grate/Seal kit and ride plate id be interested.

Thanks and apologies if this is elsewhere but I have hunted and would like to hear some opinions.

Sent you a message on oz mate,
    Jetski world scom
    Stock grate
    14/21 to lower wot rpms
    Leave the air intake
    Bov block off
Below air mods at your risk, if you flip your ski it will fill with water very quick,
Rh secret air intake replicated from oem
    Riva glovebox filter
    Remove the recall plate
    Shorten front air intake hoses
    Remove rear hoses
Wedge if you want a little extra speed
Riva plate for flatwater speed but you will loose rough water hookup recovery time.
    Lifter tray wedges
    Seat cover
    Homemade handlebar riser
    Maybe a 12v bilge
All other mods dont offer any realworld gains.

    Handle Bar Options

Aside from the Riva kit is there any other options?

I have heard that a STX 12/15 F Handle Bar stem will fit? Cant find anything about it on here.

Has any done this? I realise I would have to get it powder coated.

You can make your own spacer its documented in the tips section a block of ally and a drill is all thats needed and some longer bolts.

Im talking about any steering options than the Riva setup. Ive seen a STX stem on a 300 with pro taper bars that was for sale but wanted to see if this was a common choice and anyone had issues with still using reverse as the bars sat low.

Have many here put the STX 12/15 F handle bar stem on their 300 to lower the bars and fit aftermarket handle bars?
