sign that i need a new battery?

last monday morning i hooked up the ring terminals for my battery tender. by thursday it was still red so i unplugged it. prior to monday it had been at least a cpl months since i had it on the charger.

today i look at the top of the battery and its got discharge of some form around the each of the green plugs. this is the stock battery so im thinking its time for a new one. this is the one im looking at to support the site..

Not necessarily, that could be just fromm charging. The surefire way to know is to charge it up and take it to have it load tested at one of the parts houses.

i cant say ive seen the liquid on the top of it before. it was on the tender jr from monday morning to thursday afternoon and it never went green on the tender. the battery itself never felt warm to the touch. yeah taking it out and letting it trickle for a while and see if it goes green. if not i will snag that one for $113 shipped.
