    Just Bought a 2010 RXP-X Wanting advice on some mods

    First question, will riva or r&d stage one hurt my acceleration?

    second, i want to get up to 300 hp, but I have heard with those mods, the x model likes to spin when coming off throttle. Is this true, and how should I counter that?

    third, i would like some advice on what parts to get for these upgrades

    intake grate
    impeller/wear ring
    sc impeller
    opas delete
    intercooler if needed
    intake/exhaust
    fuel (pressure reg, injectors)
    sponsons
    ECU if necessary

    Also, I noticed today that my dad's 2002 xp seems to run better at WOT in rough water than the rxp-x. Will an upgraded intake grate help, or is this mainly due to the different hulls?

    I am sure there are other threads that have addressed probably all the questions I could ask, so if you have links to them, that would be awesome. im seeing mainly rxp 215 posts and posts on the 260.

    I've got 8650 Les Cooke tune
    Valve retainers
    14/19 skatty prop
    B kit charger
    Air intake
    R&d intake grate
    Not sure about hp but gets to 76 VERY quick.

    Have not finished running it in yet but when I do and hold at wot for longer I'm sure I will see 77-78

    Very very happy with this setup

    Welcome to the Hulk Jordan! Take a look at my sig block for some ideas. ... and 'yes', an ECU upgrade will be necessary.

    Are you guys having overstuffing/ bucking issues?

    Anybody know where to buy Jet Draft Parts, or Rotax Racing parts?

    Also, you all seem to run R&D grates, is riva that much worse?

    Have run mine up to 82 with no prv and no overstuffing.

    The riva stainless grate is better than r&d IMO

    Jerry sells rotax racing parts.

    ya, the new hull on the 2012 rxpx doesn't have the overstuffing problem from what I have read.

    Is the 2010 the same hull as the older rxp?

    I think the different pump tunnels between the rxp and 2010 rxpx causes the x to overstuff sooner. But I'm pretty sure same hull.

    it takes about 15psi @ 8300+ to be in the 300HP range
