On a quest for best PWC Fender
After getting a nasty chip from a dock (Anyone know of a touchup paint?). I've decided to try both the PWC fenders I could find, the gunwell clip and the suction cup. The suction cup ones are pretty useless , but the gunwell clip kinda seem to have potential. It seems best to use the fender with a harbor fright bungee and just trash the S hook it comes with. The Ultra 300 gunwell isn't really the correct size for hooks. I cadded a bracket the gunwell and it seems to work great, ill test it this weekend and get back to everyone.

I use the same ones you have for my RXP-X and they work fairly good.

IMO - I think they all kinda suck.
If I am "solo" - I use 2 ropes. I tie one to the LH Dock and the other to the RH Dock - with the ski floating somewhere "in-between".
I then go park my vehicle and come back.

I use the suction-y fenders but I tie the top and only suction the bottom. It's not perfect

yep just started using the suction cups ,their doing the job as I now launch at the mouth of the bay ,very rough for a launch area..
Ed the two rope idea is good and giving it some slack to float out But where I tie down to the cleats and walk back to park your car the tide/ current could send it rockin back into the dock ...
I guess it depends how calm it is but whatever works for you

Tie bow rope to dock and anchor at stern if solo.
