2004 GTX Supercharged
Posting this to see if there is any interest before I have to do something with it.
I have a 2004 GTX SC with 280 hours. All original, no upgrades. One owner ski and adult ridden in fresh water lake only. Garage kept and in excellent condition. Runs really strong and all gauges and electronics work. I have the original paperwork and maintenance receipts for it as well.
Hull and paint are in excellent shape, the bottom doesnt even have any rash aside for a few scratches from loading/unloading on the trailer. Seat is not faded or torn and shows no signs of wear at all. Super clean ski.
I acquired it as a package deal to get the 2011 SHO it was sold with. My intention was to rebuild the SC with metal washers and give to the wife but after an hour on the water this weekend, she didnt like it. She has only ever ridden an FX HO Cruiser and has her mind made up for another one.
I have the matching cover and both keys as well.
Located in Orange Park, FL. Asking $3500 or best cash offer.

Actually no. He said he talked to the dealer about it when he first heard about the issue and the dealer told him he had nothing to worry about as long as he took care of it. Thats a true testament to how babied this ski really has been. My intentions were to immediately pull the SC and send to Jerry for rebuild but with the wife not liking it, I figured I would just leave that for the buyer to do.

Machine must have been really babied to get the ceramics to last that long. Someone is going to get a nice clean ski

I havent had one person come look at it.. Lots of emails from craigslist but thats it. I actually talked to the local Yamaha dealer today and I may just trade the thing in on a new FZR and give the wife my SHO..
