When/How To Know When Engine Oil Should Be Changed

Currently have a 2006 seadoo rxp I do service it regularly but Im just curious and want to know how can you tell when the engine oil has served its purpose and needs to be changed?

Is there a way in checking? as in colour of oil or if it smells fuelly etc...

10 hours, I think, it's been awhile, I have an '04 RXP. Go by the Book, The SeaDoo Bible. Don't go by color or smell. Remember, your Human. Color and smell of oil does not register on a Supercharge Engine. BTW, YOUR POST worry me. Please read all the threads here that will help you. Green Hulk is the site for all the info. Most guys here change their oil, filter, and plugs at the beginning of every riding season themselves.

Once a season will be good for most people. You'd need to be riding over 50 hours a season to worry about changing it mid season. Some do change there oil every 20-30 hours as its cheap insurance.
