You do not have waveater clips. Your plastic piece is already gone, thats what the bolt holes are for, no need to do anything with them. That filter is not bad very often, take it off and look at it closely, shake it out. The carb filters that are usually a problem are the ones down inside the carbs. That loose hose in the back goes to the vent on the end of the battery. When you remove the stinger try and get the studs out that are on the head mounts, that will give you a bit more room to swing it out of the engine compartment. Don't forget the 2 bolts under where the head mounts are, they bolt from the bottom of stinger to the side of the cyl.

I removed those 2 bracket things but one of them does not have a bolt going to the stinger and its hole is blocked off, Do I have to remove all those 3 bolts to get the stinger off?

http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=351, Do I have to buy 3 packs of these or does 1 pack come with 3 of them? Should I buy wave eater clips from this site or is another site better, cheaper?

those look to be the SBT style pivots, so no waveeaters top clips required, but I would recommend the waveeater linkage couplers

This is what I did remove exhaust boot first removed water boot then loosened inner exhaust seal hold the two together all bolts and pulled stinger out , next removed carb plastic casing then the 6 bolts holding carb intake plastic thingy and loosened intake ring . The next step is hardest taking the bolts off holding the carbs on , I opted for plan b remove engine
