Anybody into modding the 150 sportster? Exhaust Q

Im picking up a 2009 Speedster 150 255hp on Friday, and am going to put up my 08 RXT with X charger up for sale.

Whats the deal for putting a thru hull on these? One of the places I ride has a specific prohibition of over the transom exhausts, so im not sure what the way to go would be.

Other mods that can be done to the 255hp motors without changing the blower or fueling? I know a lot about the 215hp but not the 255hp x motor...

they are almost the same motor just different blower and injectors
the only other mod that helps is valve train upgrade
you spin it at 8500 or more and it will feel like a different motor

Is it actually as easy as it looks with the RIVA tool to keep the cylinder pressurized? Ive done valve springs / retainers on a car cylinder head on the bend and wasn't too bad. This actually looks easier since there isn't metal surrounding each valve spring, and theres only 12 valves not 20.

I also read something about taking the flame arrestor out.

The riva valve tool works pretty good for changing springs without pulling the head.

I found that a few of my keeper would stick in the retainer and push the valve open. When that happened I gave the valve spring a few taps and they would seperate.

I also put the piston at tdc for each cyl I worked on that way if a valve tried to runaway it could not go to far. But if you use to much air pressure the piston will push down.
