    VTECH data logger HELP

Really need some help getting my data logger connected w iphone5.
    So far I:
    1. Installed logger in ski
    2. Downloaded app in app store
    3. Registered and was connected to server
    4. Attempted to connect via WIFI but having troubles
The instructions are not the easiest to follow and Im kindof getting pissed

"connect to the BRPDIAG networking using the password: 1234567890123The Wifi connection on the iPhone/iPad must be configured as a static connection
You must specify an unused IP in the range of the wifi access point (e.g. 192.168.0.2).

Specify a mask (255.255.255.0). Do NOT enter any router IP.
Once connected to that wifi network, you can access other devices connected to the
    same wifi LAN (e.g. 192.168.0.*)."

The password was accepted but when I entered the IP and mask numbers I was almost looking for an "enter" button or "send"? What is my next step to connect? Why is this so difficult

Try the bluetooth route. People have the exact same problems with the ODBII MAC adapter and their iPhone. Otherwise you should see it in your AP options as an adhoc device

This thing act like an adoc router... Go in your iPhone settings, change your ip to a static one... Let's say 192.168.0.150 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and then scan for available networks and select "brpdiag" network...

I will give this a try later when I am at my boat. Ive never done any work with ip's or masks so this is all a little confusing. My VCR still blinks 12:00

My first post is literally ALL the instructions for iphone. That's it. It doesn't say to download the BRPDIAG app from the app store or ANYTHING else. That's why I'm so pissed because these instructions completely suck balls
