I use the mini breather 1PT 3/8" purchased from Jeg's for $52.99. Part number is 0547605-375-01.

Here are a couple of pics of it.

If you use a sawzall and cut the part of the resonator that looks like a pipe (where the hoses connect) the thing will come right out.

water4fire says you needed to unbolt the VTS box in order to remove it in one piece.. make sure the bolt is removed holding the resonator to the hull, and the clamp is removed from way back near the stock thru-hull... after thsoe items are removed and VTS is put aside, it'll come out with no issues...

without removing the VTS seems like you gotta butcher it up wit the sawzall. that's one tool i like to whip out every opportunity i get especially on sheetrock so i can see my mom flip out, lol

You can also use something plumbers use. I don't know the name of it other than "cable saw" It's a cable with a handle on each end. It will cut right thru that resonator like butter and make less mess than the sawzall.

Use the Sawzall. It makes you feel like you did something.

I still find those f'ing shavings laying around in there from using my sawzall when I did mine. Everytime I open my drain plugs from a ride, there they come
