    gps #s on 07 rxp

I went and bought a gps today and the I was off to the lake. The water temp was 75 and the air temp was 85. I ran 68.2. I did have a full tank of gas and there was a slight chop. I'm 6' 220lbs do the numbers sound average, low, or better than others. The ski is completely stock w/ 12hrs.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

The numbers sound right on the money. When i bought my RXP new in 04 it ran 68'ish on a full tank. You should be able to squeak off 69+ low on fuel and in superman position.

You want to see a solid 8100 on 04-05 models, but i think with the newer 06 & 07 skis the guys are seeing 8200

Give the engine more time to loosen up. They really come alive at around 25 hours.

Your low RPM could also be due to your elevation. What elevation are you at?
You can always take pitch out of the trailing edge of your prop to get the R's up

Play with your trim until you find max rpm.

It should be just above 1/2.

You are doing great. 68.2 is about 4 miles per hour faster than a new Ultra full of fuel.
