Solas SR-CD 13/20 to start with.
see my signature below for mods on my 05 GTX 185, mine has been re-pitched to 12.5/18 and keeps rpm around 7550-7600. The OEM limiter is 7650 rpm.

Do you know what all you need when you run a rxt computer to change your Rev limiter in the 05 185

Look in the classified section for a 2005-2006 RXT ECU, then take to a dealer and have them mate the new ECU and dash cluster with BUDS software. The rpm limiter will then be 8200. You will also need to swap out the 38# injectors with 42's.
Be advised the 185 pistons are cast and NOT forged, so revving them above this is not recommended without proper setup. The SC gearing (16 tooth) is also less than a RXT (17 tooth), so it will never put out the same boost, unless you change out the flywheel and SC gear.
Here is a thread that explains all of the GTX 185 options: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=61053
The other option is to have the stock ECU re-flashed, but will also require other supporting mods.
