Acceleration issue on RXT-260
I was wondering if you could give me any light on a little problem I've had the last two times I took my ski to the water. I own a 2011 RXT-260 RS and when I first hit the water I always let it run on neutral for a while just to make sure everything is alright. But, the last two time when I hit acceleration the ski won't go over 30 or 32 mph. After a little while it start taking more acceleration but at intervals it goes 500 rpm down and back up. All this happens on it's first 3 to 5 minutes running, then it gets back to normal and runs at full speed with no issues the rest of the day.
Also, I notice that my top speed is about 65, maybe 66 in really calm water, is that normal or should I be concerned??? As always thanks a lot for the help guys.

Check all the easy stuff first....new spark plugs, fresh fuel, boost leaks from loose hose clamps, pull SC and check slip, IC not leaking water, wear ring and impeller, etc etc

Do a visual inspection of all hoses for boost leaks, check the SC, and definitely try new spark plugs. I replace my plugs once a year and it sometimes makes a huge difference in the way my p-x runs.

Will try with the spark plugs, because at least with what I can visually see everything else looks good.
