    91 WR500Q carb tuning

What should the two adjustments be set at on the carb? I can't seem to locate the info needed, The carb had the one next to the throttle set at 1 turn out and the other side was set at 1/2 turn,

Also everything i find on the wr500q shows a different carb, Mine has a round fuel pump with 7 or more screws holding it on and the fuel return? on the other side of the carb at the top is a banjo type rather than pressed in like it shows in the photos... Could this be a carb for some other model that someone put on? Sorry i don't have a photo of mine, tight space and its dark out...

The early WR500s came with the Mikuni BN with round pump body. The fitting on the pump is the fuel inlet. The one behind and lower is the pulse and the upper fitting is the return. I'll try to find settings for you.

You probably have an 1989 or earlier year carburetor.

My book says 1 1/4 low speed and 3/4 out on high. The low speed screw is always low on the carb, closer to intake. High speed is higher up, closer to the flame arrestor.

Low is on throttle linkage side.
