High Engine Temp alarm and limp mode

Seems to happen in water above 72 degrees. Throws Code P0217. Where do I start?

Because I found information on P0217 and I agree there is no direct correlation between it and the intercooler so the first thread was misleading.

P0217 is kinda universal. Everybody uses it, not just Seadoo.

Unfortunatly the cooloing system is pretty sealed, no real way to flush. There is a small drain on the ride plate.
Thermostat could be stuck/sticking. Maybe add some dye to the cooloant, to see if the coolant is circulating.
