    Supercharger Slip Test Tools

    Hello,

I am getting closer to 100hrs on it. No Problems so far. Running Strong! I would like to check my own 2014 Seadoo Supercharger Slip Test. What are required tools to complete this task? I have service manual with me too. So far the manual said that I just need two tools to do this. Is this correct? I also hear that you can do 2 different ways to do the test. Which is better or easier? Bench or do it inside engine? Thanks

That supercharger is suppose to last 200hrs. And I have 4 year warranty with it. If it blows up than warranty will cover it and FREE! Also, the dealer said that if i sent to Jerry and later in hours and blows up than the warranty will not cover it. I have to do it through dealer rebuilt process to keep the warranty good and active.

The 200 hour "SCer" is total bullshit....Thats is a selling prop that BRP uses to sell thier skis..There has been some upgrade to the clutch and spring washers along with the front Viton seal,BUT the bearings are still the same ol bearings we have been using since 2004....Which is now the weak link in these chargers....IF you choose to run your Scer to 200 hours then that is your choice as it is your ski,BUT do some research on Scer failure....you will see it isnt always the clutches that give out BUT the bearings as well...And trust me,your dealer would not be able to tell the difference between a Scer rebuilt by Jerry or a Scer that hasnt been rebuilt at all..Jerry only uses genuine BRP rebuild kits.....why wait and take a chance in letting your Scer blow up only to have it down for months on end while they replace your whole motor when you can spend half as much now to get it rebuilt and not have to worry about the Scer issue for another year......At 600+ dollars your dealership is raping you and your wallet.....
