Polaris Genesis i 2001 will start only with ether what is wrong

My Polaris 1200 will start if you give it a shot of starting fluid and will run great but when you shut it off you have to give it a shot of starting fluid again.

Does anybody know what is wrong?

I have replaced the fuel and fuel pump.

Thanks for any info in this matter.

Is this machine new to you? Has it ever run properly for you?

Check voltage on White/Red wires. Do not unplug a fuel injector, find some other place to tap into a White/Red wire.

Voltage on White/Red should be over 20 volts when engine is cranking and then jump up to near 45 volts when engine is running.

I have owned it for 7 years and it has run fine. I checked the voltage when cranking and it is only about 9.5 to 10 and under 20 when it is running.

This is with Black meter probe to engine ground, correct?

Low injector voltage typically means the EMM needs repair.
