Is Seadoo still honoring the fuel tank recalls?

I have a 96 XP that I restored and the filler neck at the tank broke. Are they still replacing them?

    I hope so. Thanks

As long as it was never done before, yes, it will still be covered

No. Warranty says the dealer has to do the repairs...Unless your really good friends with your dealer.......

Plus they have to make a mark on the ski when they swap the tank..

Tiny i called a local dealer here in Dallas on Saturday and gave him the HIN and he ran and said that it hasn't been done BUT also said that it expired in 2010? Said he would call Seadoo on Tuesday(cant call Seadoo on Saturday, and the dealer is closed on Sunday and Monday like most)then call me to advise me if they will still honor it.

I am not sure about when or if it expired.... On one hand, if things went bad, they could say why did it take you 12 years to get this recall done????? On the other hand, it is in their best interest to get it fixed so nothing bad does happen.....

Understood, i just acquired the ski 6 mths ago and upon restoration i checked the tank because i knew of this years back and its cracked where they all did. As we know that vapors are more volatile to explode.
