    20014 VXR idle seed

I am a new owner of a 2014 VXR. WOW!! the ski is increadable. I only have completed the breakin period, but have a question. I noticed when idling (no gas) I am moving around 1-2 mph. I would think with no gas I would sit still. Is this normal? Thanks!!

Use the reverse lever to keep still.

of course it will move, its a direct drive from the motor to the impeller, i'm hoping your not buying into the sea doo starting in neutral shit, there in no neutral, sea donkey uses the reverse/brake to control water flow so the ski doesn't move when you start it

completely normal. there is no true "neutral" or "park" on a jet ski. This means that no matter what, the ski will be moving some... as suggested, if you do not want to move.. simply play with the reverse handle until you get the "sweet spot" where your not moving..

or turn the machine off when you dont want to go anywhere.

Yea, its normal. Pull reverse level about 1/2 way up for semi-neutral.

blackjetta I have had the ski out only once so far. After the breakin ride I was able to hit about 55 mph with a ton of trottle left. I need more seat time before I feel safe going faster. I am just amazed how fast the ski accelerates.
