    Melted mpem.. help

I will try and keep this short but informative.

I purchased a 1995 seadoo xp today. It is not operational. The mpem is melted. Owner told me that it was blowing the 5am fuse in the grey box. He would replace it and pop right away. Then he decided to use a 15amp fuse (bad idea) then noticed smoke from the box.
Since this I have disconnected the vts motor.
Now when I connect the battery it does not blow the fuse however the mpem gets hot, haven't left batter connected long enough for smoke.
I have a complete front grey box in working condition that I can replace it with but I dont want to melt this mpem.
Any help would be appreciated .

You need to run through all the wiring and find out what's up. Mpem are expensive. Bypass it.
