Florida Keys ride on the Ultra300x..

Hello all, I figured I would share a video as I have enjoyed many others while bored at work, so it's payback time..

This was a recent ride from the ocean into Venture out resort through Cudjoe bay in the Florida Keys. Also included are a few pics at the end of the absolute beautiful beaches and islands that spoil me and make me not want to touch the water in Dirty Jersey..

Also, I envy those with video good video taking and editing skills, I don't have that. So I do welcome constructive criticism..

Thank you. I guess a GoPro would be better for the shaky video.

And it is quite the awesome area for sure, I've been going for years and can't get enough. The area in the video where I started the trip back is about 5 miles to Looe Key Reef. We did that trip one day and had the snorkel equipment aboard. What an awesome area, I wish I could fit 2 sets of SCUBA equipment on board. I did do 2 dives off an official dive boat the next day, and it was stunning.

A few years back I launched out of Marathon and did the trip out to Coffins Patch Reef on my 12F. Another most amazing area.. And thank you for the kind words..

Check out this grouper below my ski at Looe Key... That would be excellent on a plate.. He was huge... Looks like you had smooth water... We had chop all the time we were there....

That grouper is quite popular on that Reef and will hover below every dive boat that shows up. The snorkelers like to feed the thing, so he's become fond of anything that rolls up. The locals call him NEMO.

I was in the Keys Ski-Less back in May, and the entire week I was there it was a constant 18 Knot wind. Super annoying, and very choppy. This time when I went the weather was cooperative and things were mostly calm. It's a mixed bag down there, never know what your gonna get. However it's always Paradise, and I can drive to it, although it's one heck of a drive from NJ.

Don't be. I'd say be Jealous of the guys down there with contender center console boats. The money in boats down there is insane, but it's the perfect spot to spend it if you got it..lol.. Also, it seems your like 10 minutes from me. I've probably seen you on the Mullica a bunch of times..
