drain the coolant by removing the 5mm allen head plug in the end of the rideplate (just below the nozzle in the middle)

get a big container to catch the flow. once it start flowing pop the cap on the overflow tank and it will allow all the coolant to drain.

Put the plug back in and refill the tank. Take it to the landing and back it in the water. Start it on the trailer with the cap off the tank and let the engine warm up. Once the thermostat opens there will be room for more coolant. Fill to the mark and put the cap back on the tank. Check the level on the next couple of rides and top off as necessary.

Just to correct if I may, on closed systems, don`t pop the cap. It`ll take along time to fully drain but a vacuum will be created thereby actually sucking the fluid out of the block. Its the only way to fully change the fluid and/or fluch system. It does take a long time to drain. On cars, sometimes an hour and a half.
