Friend on mine rings me says he screwed his Spark ..
They where out in the ocean and he went a bit too close to the reef and then suddenly stopped and went straight over the handle bars ...
After riding really slow back to shore and dropping pass my place , we found this...
His scoop grate was snapped off , damaged his leading edge of prop, broke his wear ring and scrapped his bottom of hull ...

He's lucky that the hull could take the impact. Would have sucked if it would have start taking in water.

Had a similar experience this past friday, must've gotten a Lil carried away....and obviously made some amount of contact with the sandbar. Didn't feel any impact...but I'm not sure it needs to hit very hard. The nozzle was found hanging by the linkage when I inspected in the water. Was able to slip back onto upper mounting bolt...and carefully drive it back to the ramp. Surprisingly, ordering a new nozzle costs bout the same as the wear ring I just replaced. . Very glad that the steering cable wasn't damaged. Nozzle will take a week to arrive from Canada tho. 12 dollars for new upper and lower bushings, and about 62 for the nozzle.
