    Anybody ever try this......wear ring removal......freezer style

    Its worked for me before. If you dont have a freezer you can use a large flathead screwdriver or a dremel and cut that bitch out

    If you can get some dry ice it will fall right out

    although I tried this with the stainless ring and it did not come out.

    Just did this the other day, and even tho the pump was in the freezer for about 20hrs, it still had to take about 10-15 minutes of hammering a flathead thru the opposite side to get the WR out.

    2hrs in a freezer is all that is needed, if there's any water between the ring and housing yer phuk'd. LOL
