Havasu, Laughlin, Mohave, Colorado River Ride

We rode/jet skied from Laughlin to Havasu (156 mile round trip played around some) the first day, day two we rode the other way from Laughlin to the bottom of the Hoover dam via Lake Mohave and Colorado river (106 miles). Day three we rode Lake Mead (top side of the Hoover Dam 60 miles). Then we relaxed in Las Vegas for four days. Here’s a couple of the pictures.

This is Harrah’s where we stayed at in Laughlin for 3 nights it was really nice private beach and all

As you can see the Colorado River is Glass, however it does carry a very nasty current and is shallow the whole way to Havasu ranging from 5’-8’ and you can see the bottom almost the entire way

Arizona is on one side. Nevada then California is on the other this Canyon is on the way to Havasu right after we got into California

Some of the Canyon is like riding through the Garden of the Gods minus the stupid Kissing Camels!!!

And here’s the London Bridge (this is actually 11 pictures stitched together the original may get plotted out

    Me under the Bridge

This is Copper Canyon and the one of the best rocks to jump off 65+’ I did it got a nice video too

Nice little private beaches could be found between Havasu and Laughlin all over

This is was taken from the trip from Laughlin through Lake Mohave up to the Black Canyon eventually to the Hoover dam bottom side here’s how big some of the cliffs are

Going fast through the Canyon Lake Mead

    Top of Hoover Dam

See how big these canyon walls are? Look at Matt for some perspective

Here's our Route on day 1 the tracks our from my GPS. This was from Laughlin to Havasu to the Colorado River Aquaduct

And this is day two Lake Mohave to Willow Beach

    Finally day three lake Mead

WOW; Some beautiful scenery. The size of those cliffs make the skis look so small...even the Ultra !! LOL. Makes me want to get out of flat, ugly Florida.

    Damn You!!
I'm jonesin' for a laughlin to havasu & back run again! Hopefully in a few weeks it will happen. We usually start in laughlin cruise to havasu & eat at the "sand bar" burger joint, top off at chevron next dock over & head back. When are you going back? Anyone in for a future run?

I don't see any pics in the post. I was on the river this past weekend. I didn't see a single Ultra 250. I was hoping to see at least one on the water.

We do that trip during the World Finals. This year with the draw being so small and performance alley so weak, we're just going to stay on the River near Bullhead and ride down for an afternoon of racing.

    River Run

    Hey Steege,

We also just came back from a road trip along the Colorado River. Also went to Lake Mead, Needles, Parker, and lastly Havasu. We didn't do long runs like you did, mostly rode around the area. I tried to open up your pics but couldn't. Do I have to download something first?
