    got new ski and have a few questions 04 w/ mods

    Just picked up this 04 has a new seadoo motor in it with upgraded valvetrain
    Mods
    3" riva intake
    Through hull exhaust
    "Upgraded" blower lol Idk what wheel but its got metal washers n stuff
    Opas block off
    Stock ecu and injectors from what I'm told
    Sola's 14/19 prop

    Does 70 on gps on my phone . at 8100
    Seems to run dam good.


    I want to add a intercooler ASAP

    Is 8100 safe rpm and should I get a steeper prop
    Like a 16/22 ish it spins the prop out the hole a good bit if
    You hammer it.


    And I want to say I'm a newb to the rxp stuff. I'm not
    New to skis and I'm a mechanic for a living and builds turbo
    And sc stuff all the time so I'm not stupid when it
    Comes to this stuff just looking for some pointers
    For the new ski to keep it reliable

    What tune and injectors should I be looking for and
    Where can I stick a wideband in it

    You need to get the supercharger upgrade identified before adding an intercooler, or else you'll need a wideband. Identifying the supercharger will tell you which fuel injectors you will need in order to use the ski without potentially causing damage. If you take the 3" intake tube off and take a picture we should be able to identify the supercharger upgrade for you.

    You will want a 15/20R prop once you add the intercooler and most likely 42#/hr fuel injectors.

    For fixing the cavitation you should check the condition of the carbon ring and the pump wear ring. Both are maintenance items that need to be replaced every so often. If the wear ring isn't too bad you can just flip it around to get another use out of it.

    Finding a used Riva ECU or doing a V Tech flash are a couple options for an aftermarket tune. Keep in mind that spinning higher RPMs is going to require titanium retainers for reliability reasons.

    You can put a wideband on by welding a bung in the J-pipe (the stainless pipe between the exhaust manifold and the waterbox a.k.a. muffler).

    cool thanks man i was gonna pull the intake off tonight and see what it looks like and i was figuring on needing some 42#ers and i was told it had the 07- valve train, but i want to keep rpm down dont need to spin it to the moon, and i was not sure bout the wideband did not know if it had water flowing through that j pipe or not, the thing that worries me is the kid was running 110 in it for a while for what i dont know, so gonna take it easy on it when i put 93 in it and i got a boost gauge gonan stick in it this week also,
    the wear ring looks good to me it does not look worn out
